Skiing in the Alps

For mountain and skiing enthusiasts, this program is for you! In the heart of the vast unspoiled skiing area called "Les Portes du Soleil", Châtel offers a perfectly preserved mountain setting and a vast unspoiled ski area with 56 ski lifts, 69 ski slopes, 130km of fun! Intermediate and advanced level.

Ski vacation camp for teenagers 2024

Join our team of experienced activity leaders on the Portes du Soleil ski slopes in Haute-Savoie! In the heart of the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil area, the largest ski area in the world, Châtel is a village resort with a wide variety of slopes suitable for skiers of all levels.

Accomodation

The chalet offers comfortable shared bedrooms within walking distance to the ski lifts, providing easy access to the slopes. All the participants can enjoy a full pension service, which includes all meals throughout their trip. Each floor of the chalet is equipped with sanitation facilities, including toilets and showers.

Meals are varied and well-balanced, thoughtfully prepared by the resident chef, and served at the table to create a welcoming dining experience. For relaxation and entertainment, the chalet features spacious recreation rooms with a TV, a large dining area, and various games, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.

Program

The trip includes 5 days of skiing, expertly guided by qualified CEI animators to ensure both safety and enjoyment on the slopes. All necessary skiing materials, as well as ski passes, are provided, so participants can fully focus on their skiing experience without any hassle.
Beyond skiing, a range of local activities is available to enhance the adventure. Participants can enjoy fun snowball fights, take guided tours of the charming village of Châtel, and enjoy tasting a variety of local specialities, immersing themselves in the region’s culture.
Evenings are filled with engaging activities designed to create memorable moments. Youngsters can gather for lively board games, join in on karaoke sessions, or participate in a magical torchlight descent, adding a unique touch to their skiing holiday.

Transport

For departures from Paris : flight Paris/Chatel/Paris by TGV and coach.
Departures from 30 cities in France.
On site: travel by public transport.
For departures from other cities in France, the CEI proposes you to opt for its pre-post routing service.
Without transportation: it is the parents’ responsibility to bring their child(ren) to the location of the stay and to pick them up at the end of the stay according to the information given by the ILC when it becomes available.

Accommodation, restaurants and equipment

Accommodation: young people are welcomed in our chalet in the heart of the Châtel resort, in rooms of 4 to 8 beds with sanitary facilities on each floor.
At the heart of the French-Swiss Portes du Soleil,the largest ski area in the world, Châtel is a village resort with a wide variety of slopes suitable for skiers of all levels.
Meals: varied, well-balanced meals prepared by our chef and served at the table.
Facilities: activity room with TV, DVD player, board games and heated checkroom for shoes and anoraks.

Equipment: ski boots, skis or snowboard and helmet are provided.
Wearing a helmet is required.

All the information necessary for organizing your child’s departure is available on the Visiocolo website approximately 3 weeks before the start of the ski holiday camp.

Visiocolo contains :

departure convocation,
contacts of the hosting center,
the set,
all documents relating to the participant’s trip.

Ski camp supervision

CEI organizes all its vacation camps and recruits all its staff.

We fully comply with all applicable regulations. All management units are selected, trained and set up as follows :

Holiday director with BAFD diploma or recognized equivalent
Qualified and experienced supervisors with BAFA or equivalent qualifications
Health assistant, AFPS/PSC1/BNS diploma or recognized equivalent
State-certified sports instructors.

Youth and Sports supervision quotas are fully respected: one activity leader for every 12 youngsters. Our organization’s policy is to provide more supervision for younger children. We can increase our supervision to one animator for 8 youngsters under 12 years old.
